Running with the Pak (My Internship with WolfPak Clothing)
Challenging yourself to become a better you is a part of life. It’s different for everyone simply because no two people have ever been the same, and as we climb our own mountains, we all must face our own unique struggles. This is not something that happens overnight, nor should it, it is something that can only happen when you finally allow yourself to go above and beyond what you think you are capable of and dive headfirst into the new. There will be hardships, there will be failures, and yes there will be success. Working with WolfPak Clothing and the brilliant minds behind the brand was something that I can say challenged me, creatively, mentally and socially to become a better, more educated and more confident employee and artist. As I entered this new environment my first challenge was to break away from my old creative processes and force myself to generate art and various pieces of media. Media that not only spoke to me, but focused it’s energy outward, to inspire others to step up to their next challenge and become better versions of themselves. To many, including me, the creative process is complex, emotional and sometimes extremely challenging. What WolfPak taught me, was to use this creative anxt to make something beautiful and new that would deliver their uplifting message through my own artistic scope. And with the help of multiple artists, musicians and the wonderful staff at WolfPak, I was able to do just that.
“Step up to the next challenge” is one of WolfPak’s mottos that drove me to personally pursue my goals as an individual and help others along the way. Whatever your personal challenge is, with the proper motivation, drive and mindset you will be able to achieve it. I did so by running with the Pak by truly learning how to produce media that was aimed outward rather than in. Social media and event management, graphic design, videography, artist booking and professional photography were several of the aspects that I focused on during my time with WolfPak. Each one of these being something I am passionate about, I tried my hardest to push myself as an artist to create pieces and events that would evoke real thought and inspiration to all that they touched. And I can honestly say, after creating an event from the ground up, promoting it relentlessly, physically setting it up and eventually filming it myself I have never been more proud.
WolfPak Clothing is made up of inspiring, artists, creators, and entrepreneurs who strive for greatness and lead by their success. Through this earned success they do nothing but ask you to step up to your next challenge, and overcome it. But what it truly means to run with the Pak is to realize the journey is never over, and another challenge is always just around the corner, waiting for you to overcome it. It was an absolute pleasure to work with them and I now know exactly what I am capable of, and that I am personally ready to step up to my next challenge, are you?
